Elegance can be sustainable — and green. A 100-year-old bridge provided all the redwood for the doors, windows, interior paneling, and trim in this remote country home. We crafted the floors with fir recycled from a Seattle commercial building. Exterior siding and timber framing was milled from trees on the property. With all the power for heat, light, and water heating produced by solar panels, this home proves that environmentally sound buildings can be both beautiful and inviting.
